Spring Break

Wow, I haven't posted in a while. How is everyone doing? Well, I hope. I am on Spring Break right now and it is niiiiiiiice. It's nice being able to stay up late, sleep in and do whatever. I've been relaxing a lot. It's definitely a nice break from school and I needed it.

On Friday the 26th, I got pretty drunk. It's the drunkest I've ever been and ya know, it was a lot of fun. :) Drinking, dancing and hanging out. It was a wonderful start to Spring Break.

I do have quite a bit of reading to do which kind of sucks, but what are ya gonna do. Some teachers are just mean like that.

I really miss talking to all of you and stuff. My computer is still out of commission, in fact Merc recommends a reformat ASAP. So, hopefully sometime when I get back to school we can do that and I can get back online. Until then, I am still around...don't forget about me. ;)

Greetings From My Roommate's Computer

Hey :) How is everyone? Good I hope. I am doing fine...I am so tired and I have no idea why I am still up. Crazy I guess...maybe it was the two shots of rum? *shrug* I dunno.

The last week has been pretty hectic...I've been keeping busy with school but also doing other stuff. Like last weekend I hung out w/Merc and Ong which was a lot of fun (also saw Starsky and Hutch). Last night, I went to LA, or West Hollywood to be exact to the Viper Room (The club owned by Johnny Depp) to see the Pussycat Dolls. It's kind of a burlesque show, basically women singing/dancing in their underwear. But it was really awesome...I enjoyed it..and all of the women were so beautiful and hot. (Yes, I am straight). And after that we went to to Mel's Diner, which was featured in the movie American Graffiti. I dunno if the one we went to was, but yeah.

Today an old roommate from San Diego came up and we hung out w/her. We went to dinner at Soup Plantation, which was really good. $9.00 for an all you can eat, soup, salad and other stuff buffet. Not too bad. :)

No plans so far for the weekend. I should start preparing for my midterms...and I have to go see a movie for a class, but other than that, it's all in the air.

I just wanted to do a short update....oh and I want to congradulate FJ on the job....and thanks to my roommate for letting me use her computer. ;)

Discovery

I have discovered that I get a hell of a lot more work done now that I don't have my computer. Very interesting.. ;)

Just in case any of you were wondering...my computer is broke, which is why there is a lack of posts. Just wanted to share. :)

HAPPY 311 DAY!!!

Everyone should listen to at least one 311 song today...not only to celebrate the fact that it is 3/11, but to humor me al well. ;) This is wonderful day...I will be celebrating by listening to 311 all day. OH yes...good times, good times. :D

Working Out

I love the feeling I get after working out. I have this feeling like I have accomplished something, I have done good with my time and it gives me more confidence. Working out is something I have recently started, though I haven't been too consistent, I am still trying. I have decided to give myself two goals: 1) eat better and 2) exercise (I would say exercise more, but I haven't really been exercising). I think finding out that my dad is a diabetic has scared me. As much as I love him, I don't want to be like him when I am 52. So, I am trying...not too gung-ho on it, but I have to start somewhere. :)

As you can see I have survived this hellish week. I actually think my two tests went okay. I didn't do work all day, I figured I deserved it. Actually, I deserved a hard drink or two...and I was going to go drink at my friend Brian's place last night, but by the time he called, I was just too tired. Maybe another day.

Got my concert pics back today. :) They didn't come out too bad. I wish I hadn't have used the flash though...it was hard, there's a button on the camera to turn on the flash and when you have people crowding around you, it's hard not to press down the button, so I just wound up using the flash. Can you even get disposable cameras w/o a flash?

No plans for tomorrow...probably gonna start doing some homework. Try to get ahead. I don't have class on Monday, so that is nice, especially since I only have one class on Monday's ;)

For the first time in my life, I understand the phrase "not enough hours in a day." I have SO much to do...and no time. I have a test tomorrow morning, which is going to kick my ass...and then I have another test Friday...on chapters 1-5, which I have chapters 1 & 2 read...so I need to read 3 chapters, plus study. And I am supposed to watch this movie for a quiz in another class on Friday and I just don't think that one is gonna happen. I figure I have to sacrifice something, because I just don't have 2 hours. I will also be sacrificing sleep as well. And just in case you are curious, I am eating right now, so that is why I am taking the time out to post. I just want this week to be over!!!

311!!

The concert last night was amazing. It was so much fun. The whole atmosphere of the show, the energy, and the vibe made it an awesome experience. The venue was much smaller than I expected and we were pretty close, I would guess maybe 15 or so rows from the stage. I think I got some good pictures too. I couldn't believe how much into the show everyone was. I have seen them in Fresno and the crowd just wasn't into it, but it was great being around so many hardcore fans like myself and everyone was singing. I left w/a hoarse voice and ringing ears, which, I think is a great feeling. ;)

So, this week is going to be a bitch. I have two tests and an essay due. The essay is not required, but I feel like I can really do a good job on it and if I do it now, I won't have another one due for the rest of the semester, well...in this particular class anyways. AND I am very bummed because I wanted to go home this weekend, but I can't because I have a test on Friday. I was really looking forward to that...it's odd though...I've known for a few weeks that I had a test this Friday and it only occurred to me this morning that I wouldn't be able to go home cause of that. *sigh* Oh well...guess I'll have to wait until spring break...but then that kinda sucks cause I will miss Ong's B-day.

Okay, I better get to work...have a lot of stuff to do today...hope everyone had a great weekend. :)
