Movies

I am starting to become annoyed with movies lately. A few weeks ago my roommate rented The Family Stone. We like Sarah Jessica Parker, so we wanted to see it. I don't think watched an hour and we turned it off. It was horrible. Then, on Friday, we went to see The Da Vinci Code and we were both extremely disappointed in that. I know it's because we read the book, but there were just some things that the movie added or took out and it just wasn't right...it shouldn't have been done because it ruins some of the greatness of the story. Then Saturday night we rented two more movies, one of which being Casanova. We thought it'd be a cute, little romantic movie. It's so slooooooooooow. We turned it off at 40 min. when we realized there was still over an hour to go. It was just blah. I must say though, the other movie we rented was The Producers, which I absolutely loved. It's completely wrong and politically incorrect, but you gotta love anything Mel Brooks does. I dunno, to me, 1 out of 4 is a horrible record. I am looking forward to a few movies this summer and I hope they do not disappoint. I want to see Cars and the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie...and from the previews in the theater, doesn't look like anything really great is coming out this summer.
