So, I Do Remember How To Blog

Yes, it has been a while. One of the many things I have been meaning to do and in my boredom and tired haze, I have finally decided to update.

Let's get down to the nitty gritty:

Work - It's been going okay. We are having issues w/our doctor and are currently trying to get a new doctor in. What are the issues? Well, she has a complete lack of confidence in herself and her job, she has misdiagnosed cases and even with all kinds of training, she's not working out. You can't blame her 100% though - our company plucked her out of the Philippines to practice veterinary medicine in the U.S., which is much different than she is used to. They basically threw her into the job...but she has also been working for the company for 6 months now and she's still not grasping things. My boss says she just doesn't have what it takes. If she leaves, I will miss her though. She is a very nice and good person. But, fact is, we need someone more steady in this job.

Life - I am pretty sure I have mentioned that my roommate is getting married? Heck, I don't remember. But yes, she will getting married July 21st. I am happy for her...seems that everything is just falling into place for her. I would like to proudly announce that I applied for an apartment and I have gotten it...all on my own, no co-signer...how awesome is that?! SO, it's a studio apartment. It's a little outdated (i.e. probably the original appliances from the 1970's), but I think it is cute and I think I could do a lot with it. And ya know what the best part is? It's right next door to Merc and Ong...well, not literally, but it's the complex next door to them. I'm so excited. Can't wait to get in there...and I will probably be moving in the next few weeks, though I am not too excited about the actual moving. And now that I have secured an apartment, I need to figure out how I will make rent every month. :)

That is basically all that is going on right now. The next month or so promises to be hectic and maybe a little chaotic. My life is about to change in a big way and while I am nervous and scared, I think I am the most excited than I've ever been. *cheers*
