Moving Day

Tomorrow I will be moving...I am very excited, but I am also dreading it because, well, it's moving. Plus, I am exhausted already...it's been a very long week. Tomorrow will be fun. See, I bought this hand truck and it converts to a cart w/4 wheels so you can push it. The plan was to load up what I could, wheel over to the elevator and then load up the truck I rented. Well, turns out, our elevator isn't working! It's going to be great carrying things, probably a box at a time, down 3 flights of stairs. Luckily, at my new place, my parking spot is very close to my apartment, so I will be able to wheel things there and only go up one flight of stairs. I am hoping that the elevator will be working tomorrow, but I highly doubt it. Oh well...I am guaranteed to get lots of exercise, that is for sure.

I picked up my keys today for the apartment. I also went to Target and bought a bunch of stuff that I would need, like a lamp, fan, rugs, etc. I took all of that back to the apartment and I was just in shock that I would actually be living there and making it my own. It's all still very surreal to me. I know I will enjoy it, though. And, you know, I probably could have gotten a better deal somewhere else...maybe cheaper...and I know I could have gotten a much more updated apartment for the same price, but I like this apartment and it's yellow 1970s/1980s appliances, brown cabinets and yellow counter tops. I love it because it has so much more character than an updated apartment that is all white w/beige carpet. And those who know me know how plain I can be, so I need something with some umph. ;)

If everyone could send me some vibes...maybe some cool weather vibes, some energy vibes, some strength vibes...I'd really appreciate it. For once, I don't need happy/positive vibes. :)
