Last Night's Dreams

I'm not sure if I have mentioned this before, but at the most random times, I will dream about my high school crush. I find it odd because I never think about the guy. Of course, after I dream about him, I can't help but think about him, but he eventually leaves my mind.

In the dream I had last night there were a bunch of people, myself, my crush, people from my work and others in this group therapy type session. Out of nowhere, I become the topic of conversation...something to the effect of whether or not I was date-able. So, my crush chimes in and was like, "yeah, we've known each other for a long time and there's always been something there.." blah blah blah. So, later in the dream, he and I are sitting at a little, round table across from each other and he was saying that it always seemed like we needed to get to know each other better, but neither of us initiated to do that, but that he'd like to do that now. Then, he got up, and put both hands on my scalp, like he was trying to read the bumps in my head. While doing that, he was telling me that he used to have a different name on the "Emerald Isle," but changed it when he moved to the United States. Very odd.

And two parts of my dream that didn't involve him...

I was at this chick's house and I remembered that she used to have this big Rottweiler and I asked her where he was. She said, "I had to put him down. I didn't like the way they did it, though." I told I was sorry and asked her how they did it. "Through the heart...he was calm, though." (I'm thinking a needle in the heart).

Then, in another part of the dream, I was sleeping on one of those hide-away beds. Sleeping with me was the little Boston Terrier that one of my coworkers is watching for one of our clients. Well, I proceed to get up and I fold the bed back into the couch and walk away. I then realize that I folded the dog inside the couch as well. I run back to the couch and the dog is sitting next to it and is giving me a look that says, "why would you do that to me?" So, I pick him up to make sure he is okay and it looks like he just has a few scratches on him. I go the hall cabinet and grab a towel. (At this point, I am in my parent's house). I go into the bathroom, wet the towel with arm water and clean up the scratches. Then, his skin starts falling apart and all of the sudden he has this huge cut along his back that is completely open and I can see his insides. All I can do is scream, "what have I done?!" And that's all I remember.

Don't ask me because I have no idea...
